One of the UK’s most captivating guitarists, Remi Harris, teams up with double bassist Tom Moore and rhythm guitarist Chris Nesbitt for an exhilarating evening of Gypsy Jazz and Blues. This dynamic trio combines technical brilliance with heartfelt passion, delivering a spellbinding performance inspired by legends like Django Reinhardt, Peter Green, Wes Montgomery, Jimi Hendrix, and Joe Pass.
Remi, largely self-taught since the age of seven, has devoted his life to mastering the guitar. His journey has taken him from busking in local streets to gracing prestigious stages and events, including Buckingham Palace, the Montreal Jazz Festival, the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall with Jamie Cullum, and appearances on national radio and television.
The Remi Harris Hot Club Trio marks Remi’s return to the trio format after a six-year hiatus, adding to his already busy schedule. In 2024, Remi will also be on the road with his blues rock project, Man of the World: The Music of Peter Green, with shows that are selling out months in advance. He has recently published his third book, Gypsy Jazz Soloing Etudes, following the success of his previous release, 100 Gypsy Jazz Guitar Licks, which broke into the Top 10 on the Amazon Charts. He is also working on a highly anticipated new album.
Remi’s distinctive style continues to garner a global fanbase, with his social media following expanding rapidly. His work has caught the attention of notable figures in the music world, earning rave reviews from luminaries like Dr. Martin Taylor MBE, who praised him as a phenomenal player and a true master of both gypsy jazz and blues guitar.
