Oliver Jones is an award-winning visual artist, working from his studio in rural Shropshire, after spending the first part of his career working from and co-running studios in Birmingham. His work is collected and exhibited both nationally and internationally and can be found in some highly notable public and private collections throughout the UK, Los Angeles and Istanbul.
In 2020, Meadow Arts curated an exhibition of Jones’ large-scale pastel drawings, that deal with a quest for beauty and perfection through plastic surgery, skin treatments and body modification, in Skin Deep at Berrington Hall, in partnership with National Trust. The exhibition has closed during the Coronavirus lockdown, but we hope to reopen it later in the year so that you can see these stunning works in this special venue. In the meantime, enjoy images of Oliver Jones’ work online and watch the artist’s own studio tour, released online on 15 May 2020.
