West Midlands based singer-songwriter SheBeat is known for her simplistic folk songwriting that draws you in with it’s positive sound and exceptional melodies. Drawing influences from the likes of Courtney Barnett, PJ Harvey, Norah Jones, Dolly Parton and Paul McCartney, SheBeat draws listeners in with her smiley nature. With three self-published EPs firmly in her discography and well received, the songwriting returns with another string to her bow ‘Lockdown Limbo’.
Produced remotely with help from Brawsome Productions’ Ian White in Edinburgh, ‘Lockdown Limbo’ was written during the early days of COVID 19 Lockdown. Accompanied with a home made movie, the track is available from all streaming sites, including Bandcamp where you can purchase it. Simply about staying home and missing loved ones, Lockdown Limbo is certainly making lockdown far more easier. Showcasing that simplicity is key, the quirky number is a step up Jodie’s ever-growing songwriting ladder.
