Rock three piece Raggedstone Crawler carve their name into the Midlands scene with their new track See You Again.
If you were lucky enough to catch Raggedstone Crawler at their set for Uncover’s 5th Birthday celebration you’ll be familiar with the band’s ability to blend funky bass lines, punchy guitar riffs and hard hitting drums to create a song that takes you by the hand and pulls you in full throttle, if not See You Again is the perfect introduction to this promising up and coming band.
The track immediately grabs your attention with the opening bass line, guitar riff and drum beat, giving each member a chance to show off their talent from the very start with their mix of thick, resonant chord structures, perfectly timed drums and vocals which ease their way into the song at the perfect moment.
“Being able to elaborate on what you play live, giving it depth with vocal harmonies and doubled guitar tracks really enhances the song” the band said about recording the track and that extra depth slams through, particularly during the chorus of this exciting recorded debut.
Having spent the past 2 years writing tracks and perfecting their sound Rupert (vocals) Ben (bass) and Ali (drums) took on the mammoth task of writing, recording and mixing See You Again themselves at Tower Studios in Pershore, mastering the track with the help from Pete Maher.
A decision which paid off, allowing the band to have full creative freedom over the track from start to finish.
“Learning that process pretty much from scratch and having complete control has been quite liberating” the three piece said. Drawing on a range of influences from classic rock bands such as Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin to metal and desert rock, See You Again is 2 minutes and 41 seconds of pure excitement.
See You Again is available to stream now on Spotify, iTunes, and Amazon Music.
