Following a warmly received performance at the Bromsgrove Folk Festival last summer, comic poet, humourist, and singer Rob Barratt is set to return to town on Tuesday, 29th April, where he will headline WORDS with his acclaimed show, “Brain Tickling and Word Mangling!!”
Rob has entertained audiences at Folk, Literature, and Arts Festivals across the British Isles and Australia. His performances are a lively mix of witty wordplay, comic verse, song, and engaging satire—often peppered with audience participation.
Expect a whirlwind of quirky topics, from squid and the weather in Scotland to data-driven education and Neanderthal politics. While the humour flows freely, Barratt’s clever writing often carries a more thoughtful message just beneath the surface.
