BEN & DOM

The Ale House, Mill Lane, Colwall
SAT 25th FEB ’23
7.30 concert – doors open 7.00pm
4.00-6.00 singing workshop

Fresh from Cambridge Folk Festival, opening for Tom Robinson and The Young ‘Uns, the vocal duo of Ben See & Dom ‘Spooky’ Stichbury open their national  tour at Colwall’s mediaeval Ale House.

This vocal duo, based in South London create an intimate atmosphere wherever they go, weaving beautiful voices around songs old and new with an intricate blend of harmonies coming from a close friendship and shared love of singing. The duo perform original material alongside their interpretations of folk songs like Cobweb of Dreams, Children of Darkness, The Quiet Joys of Brotherhood…. touching on friendship, nature & what it means for two men to sing together in the modern day. Ben takes the high notes and Dom takes the low (most of the time!).

Following the success and critical acclaim of their debut EP Shoulder which received extensive plays on BBC 6Music & Radio 3, the duo are on a UK-wide tour in Spring 2023 to launch their first full length album His Head Lies Heavy.
