Band Together Festival
Saturday, June 29th, in Cripplegate Park, Worcester
After over a year of planning and numerous fundraising events, Band Together is hosting its first charity festival this Saturday, June 29th, in Cripplegate Park, Worcester.
This year’s festival will benefit local homeless charities Maggs and the Worcester Street Cafe.
Founded by friends Ruth, Laura, and Chewie, Band Together aims to create a community-focused event to raise funds and awareness for local homeless charities. This passion project will see its first full event this Saturday.
“This Saturday’s event is going to be one hell of a party!” said Chewie, a support worker for Maggs. “We’re so grateful for the support we’ve received from so many people, and it’s going to be fantastic to see all the hard work finally pay off. It really reaffirms my faith in humanity!”
Featuring an amazing line-up of musical talent, including Killerstream Weekend Anthems, Capas, Kaitlyn Elverson, Ruben Seabright, The Secret Cabaret, Patrilineals, the Hill’s Angels, and Chewie, Band Together offers a family-friendly experience from 1-9 pm. Enjoy fully licensed bars, food and stall vendors, children’s activities, and a raffle with incredible prizes donated by local companies, including Hickory’s Smokehouse, the Morgan Pub, the Morgan Motor Company, Lakefest, The Roses Theatre, and more!
