Get ready to rock the Malvern Hills! The highly anticipated Malvern Rocks music festival returns for its sixth year, running from Friday, August 2nd to Sunday, August 4th, 2024.
This year, the festival expands to twelve venues across Malvern, including The Red Lion in Malvern, The Unicorn, Bar Limon, Dirty D’s Donut Store, The Red Lion in Stifford’s Bridge, The New Inn, The Morgan, The Water Cure, Malvern Lounge, and Barnard’s Green Cricket Club. Additionally, festivalgoers can enjoy performances on the picturesque Belle Vue Island on Sunday afternoon.
Malvern Rocks Priory Park: The excitement doesn’t stop there! On Saturday afternoon, from 1pm to 6pm, Malvern Rocks Priory Park, co-organised with Severn Arts, transforms into a hub of music and creativity. The Victorian Bandstand will come alive with live music, while a variety of art workshops keep attendees of all ages engaged. Aspiring musicians can even participate in a recording experience at the “Music Box” bus.
Young music enthusiasts won’t be left out! The Worcester and Bromsgrove Rock Schools take on the second stage, showcasing the talents of their latest term’s bands. The event may even feature a performance by Worcestershire’s own young poet laureate, adding a touch of spoken word artistry to the mix.
Malvern Rocks 2024 – Bigger and Better: With close to 100 performances planned across the twelve venues, Malvern Rocks 2024 promises an electrifying weekend celebrating established artists and rising stars. Get ready for a diverse soundscape, with the lineup announcement coming in early June.
