This August, the picturesque Malvern Hills will come alive with the sounds of the highly anticipated Malvern Rocks music festival which promises a diverse and dynamic lineup featuring over 100 performances across 12 venues in the town.
Despite what the name “Malvern Rocks” might suggest, this festival offers far more than just rock music. Attendees can look forward to an eclectic mix of genres, including soulful blues, foot-stomping folk, infectious funk grooves, and intimate acoustic sets. There’s even a touch of techno to keep the party going. Whether you’re a die-hard rock fan or someone with more eclectic tastes, Malvern Rocks is sure to ignite your musical spark.
Due unforeseen circumstances, there is change to the previously advertised venues; The Hideout (Red Lion, Malvern) will no longer be part of this year’s festival. However, the festival team is excited to announce a fantastic new location: The Three Horseshoes on Poolbrook Road (WR14 3JW). All performances originally scheduled for The Hideout will now take place at this welcoming new venue.

Malvern Rocks isn’t just about the evenings! This year, the festival features a special party in the park on Saturday afternoon. This free, family-friendly event, organized in conjunction with Severn Arts, will offer live music, food stalls, arts workshops, and activities for all ages. It’s the perfect way to soak up the festival atmosphere. Kids can enjoy the Music Box bus, where they can play, sing, and record instruments while learning about music technology.
Additionally, youth performers from Worcester and Bromsgrove School of Rock will be performing on a second stage in the park, ensuring a fabulous day for everyone.
