The Dancefest team are working from home and planning ways of being creative with you during these next few weeks, months and beyond!
Look out for videos across all their social media channels and on their website over the coming weeks – and send them any requests! Some will be live so you can join in with them in real time, some recorded – and for all ages, all filmed in their living rooms, kitchens and gardens!
There’ll also be some creative challenges for you to join in with, so you can send in your photos, videos and ideas!
From Parents and Wobblers, children’s classes, youth dance, ballet, contemporary, to Chance to Dance sessions for dancers aged 55+, there’s lots to keep the whole family physically and mentally active.
They’ve also been gathering tracks to make a Spotify playlist for their 30th anniversary (which will be a year they’ll never forget, in more ways than one!) and now, more than ever, they’d like to add some really upbeat tracks to help them stay positive – so let them know what music you play to get moving, to cheer you up, to inspire you, to make you stop and think. Just message them online on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram – or drop them an email at info@dancefest.co.uk
They’re really missing their real life dancers but they’re loving connecting with them online – so go and give them a wave and take a dance class in your dining room.
They know this time isn’t easy, but they want you to keep safe and stay active!
