With new music, enchanting harmonies, and soul-stirring performances, critically acclaimed folk duo Hannah & Ben are embarking on a special, one-off expanded band tour to celebrate the release of their latest album, In The Dark We Grow. After the success of their 2022 release Ink of the Rosy Morning on Topic Records and a remarkable 2023 tour with the legendary Fairport Convention, Hannah & Ben are taking the Marrs Bar stage in Worcester for a unique live show.
For the first time, they’ll be joined by a full band, including the renowned Jon Thorne (Lamb, James Yorkston) on double bass. Known for their intimate and soul-stirring performances, this new collaboration promises to captivate audiences with a fresh yet familiar sound that is sure to soothe the weariest of listeners.
Since their emergence in 2016, Hannah & Ben have been redefining the boundaries of folk music, blending the timeless and the contemporary, with influences from Americana while maintaining a quintessentially English sound. Their playful and instinctive music is made with such panache and natural chemistry that it simply makes sense.
With her voice of disarming purity, Hannah Sanders entrances audiences, while Ben Savage, a singular guitarist with a distinctive and innovative sound, adds layers of depth. Together, their harmonies and infectious passion make every performance an unforgettable experience.
