New Arts Council Funding for freelance theatre workers and musicians
Arts Council England are investing £2 million into the Theatre Artists Fund and Help Musicians’ Financial Hardship Funding programme – providing vital support for freelancers who are less likely to access our existing funding.
The new investment builds on their commitment to use resources to offer more support to individuals and freelancers during this challenging period.
This funding complements other programmes available to individual artists including the National Lottery Project Grants, which now has a total budget of £75 million, and Developing your Creative Practice programme which reopens in the autumn.
