Grime artist and producer Enbe knew that music was for him at a young age, jumping headfirst into the drum and bass scene as soon as he bought his first turntable. Performing in venues such as the O2 institute alongside infamous Drum and Bass names like Kenny Ken and Nicky Blackmarket as well as Oxide & Neutrino, Enbe quickly released his first drum and bass record ‘Who Goes There’.
He says that things really changed for him in 2002 when Whiley released his now iconic track Eskimo. Like many other grime artists in the UK, Enbe says that this is when he found his true calling as a musician. He instantly connected with the genre and immersed himself in it.
With a newly found love and determination, Enbe started to establish himself as a producer with a promising career ahead of him. After taking some time away from music to focus on his personal life Enbe is back, and his newest release proves that no matter what life throws his way, he’s able to bounce back.
‘Back Again’ is a testament to what the musician has been through and overcome. Partnering up with fellow rapper Skinn – E, the duo speaks openly and honestly about their struggles and their resilience while encapsulating the classic grime sound which has made the genre so popular in recent years. Using his flare as a producer, Enbe gives the track an extra kick using synchronised backbeats, a sound synonymous with the grime genre, as well as a catchy hook which draws your attention immediately.

Enbe believes that fortune doesn’t favour the great and that we need to take the moments life gives us and use them as momentum to constantly move forward, with those ideals reflected in his lyrical content. Having already released two tracks this year, and with the promise of a 6 track EP to be released later this year, it’s evident that Enbe is determined to make up for lost time and continue to establish himself within the genre.
