A bigger love 1402
February 14th
Malvern Cube & Malvern Library
This Valentine’s day, why not make a date with your creativity and come to a free workshop to express your appreciation of nature! A bigger love 1402 is a project designed by Malvern artist Juliet Mootz, where people are invited to upload work dedicated to their love of nature to a shared gallery. Juliet’s work involves connecting people with their environment, ‘Valentine’s Day is a perfect day to acknowledge a bigger love for the beautiful natural world around us, and everyone can engage and share their appreciation. It will be wonderful to find out what our bigger loves are and I’m sure there will be some common themes, maybe our bluebells or specific trees, but I’m also expecting a few surprise secret loves, who knows, we may even get a poem dedicated to a slug?’
There will be two workshops, one in the morning at Malvern Cube and one early evening at the Book and Cup Cafe in Malvern Library, both events are bookable through Eventbrite, they are free but places are limited so do book up if you’d like to come!
If you are a group who like access to free downloadable ideas, please contact Juliet at julietmootz@hotmail.com
This project is being sponsored by Green Party County Councillor Natalie McVey ‘Having opportunities to connect and re-establish our relationships with our natural environment is so important; not just for our own well-being, but as a way of reconnecting a bond and awareness of our precious species facing extinction.’
