‘Aphelion’ is a quartet of musicians from the UK and Iran – singers Paula Evans and Cerys Purser, pianist and soundscaper Chris Long, and kamancheh (Persian violin) player Rouzbeh Parsa. Together they present an evening of beautiful ancient and contemporary melody, hypnotic soundscapes and inspiring improvisations in the circular space of St George’s Parish Hall, in celebration of Earth Day.
